WWE: Torrie Wilson

Born in Boise Idaho on July 24, 1975, Torrie Wilson (real name) has won several fitness awards. At 5'7", 133 lbs and 36-25-36, this good lookin' lady has won several titles including the Ms. Galaxy Florida and the Ms. Galaxy Nova Championship "physique" titles in 1998. During 1999 she also appeared on the covers of Oxygen and Natural Muscle magazines. Adding to her credentials she entered the professional wrestling world and took the WCW by storm. Referred to in passing as Samantha by Kevin Nash and Hollywood Hogan she appeared on the scene as a 'unknown' woman who was talking to someone (the camera). For several weeks we were unsure who her conversations were with, until Superbrawl '99. It became obvious that she had somehow used her female wiles and had twisted Ric Flair's son David into betraying his father.

Apparently tired of playing with a boy, she moved on to greener pastures and a few months later she joined up with Billy Kidman and the Filthy Animals. Torrie seemed to be quite happy with the group and especially enamored with Billy Kidman. Suddenly the Filthy Animals found themselves under constant attack by The Revolution (Asya, Dean Malenko, Shane Douglas and Chris Benoit), who made it their goal in life to torment The Animals, particularly Torrie. The Animals tried to fend off the onslaught but nagging injuries began to slow the group down and The Revolution finally kidnapped Torrie.

The whole feud finally culminated at the Mayhem PPV as Saturn/Malenko/Asya squared of against Guerrero/Kidman/Torrie. Saturn eventually ended up pinning a defenseless Torrie. The next night Billy got sidetracked during a tag team match when the KidCam showed Torrie and Eddie Guerrero backstage in the dressing room together. Not that anything happened, but it was enough to send Kidman rushing backstage, leaving K-Dog in the ring alone to defend the title against two opponents. Later that night Kidman and Eddie had a grudge match with K-Dog watching from ringside. The Revolution charged K-Dog and injured him seriously. With Rey Mysterio already out with an injury and Kidman/Eddie fighting, it pretty well spelled the end of The Filthy Animals.

Torrie disappeared in late November 1999 and the rumors began to fly whether she was returning or not. After 2 months she returned to the WCW and came out to ringside during Kidman's match. Torrie helped Kidman win the match and followed up by giving him hugs and kisses which got a big pop from the audience.

There was a rumor that Hogan was upset by the push that Kidman was getting and that he wanted the pair split up. Not long afterwards a split up did occur between the couple, lending some credence to the rumor, . At the Great American Bash PPV in June 2000, Torrie turned on Billy by giving him a low blow and then handing Hollywood Hogan a pair of brass knuckles.

The following month at the Bash At The Beach PPV Torrie came to ringside and climbed up on the apron, distracting the Shane "The Franchise" Douglas during his match against Buff Bagwell. Shane tried to get a smooch but received a slap to his face that almost led to Bagwell winning the match. It appeared that Torrie was rooting for the handsome Buff to get a pinfall and to add to Buff's excitement, Torrie not only gave him a few smiles and some hot looks, but even entered the ring and gave him a kiss. Just as Buff turned around to flex his 'stuff' for the audience Torrie gave him a kick in the groin from behind sending him to the mat and sealing the win for The Franchise.

For the next several months Torrie Wilson maintained her relationship with Shane Douglas while he feuded continuously with Billy Kidman until December 2000. At that time rumors began flying all over the Internet as to Torrie's status with the WCW. Apparently it was contract negotiation time and Torrie wanted more money than WCW was willing to pay, and there were hints that she was trying to negotiate a contract with the WWF. Although her status with WCW was unclear her pages on the official WCW web site were gone by the end of the month.

Converse, Vaine, Brad Attitude, and Brad Rains combined to form "The Dynasty" that dominated the CWF Mid Atlanic indy promotion for a year as a Four Horseman like group of heels. She feuded with Jenny Taylor and Amber O'Neal in the CWF. In 2004, she changed her name to Krissy Vaine and formed "Team Blondage" with O'Neal. At the October 12, 2006 Deep South TV Tapings, Krissy became the General Manager for Deep South Wrestling. In late 2006 and early 2007 Krissy then got in a feud with Angel Williams, this was because Krissy was tired of Angel and made her lose her matches by distractions by other Deep South Divas, even getting attack by Angel in her office.

WWE: Beth Phoenix

Wrestler name(s) Beth Phoenix,Phoenix,Firebird,Fabulous Firebird
Billed height 5'6" (1.68 m)
Billed weight 156 lb
Born November 24, 1980,Elmira, New York
Resides Tulsa, Oklahoma
Billed from Buffalo, New York, Elmira, New York (in OVW)
Trained by The All Knighters (Joey Knight and Robin Knightwing),OVW
Pro wrestling debut: 2000

Elizabeth Carolan née Elizabeth Kocanski is a pro wrestler currently working for WWE under a developmental contract. After getting invited to a WWE tryout in May 2004, she began working full time at their developmental area Ohio Valley Wrestling, where she worked as a wrestler as well as a valet for Aaron Stevens along with Shelly Martinez. In October 2005, after working a SHIMMER event she was signed to a developmental contract with WWE.

Beth began wrestling on the Elmira, New York Notre Dame High School amateur wrestling team. She was the very first female varsity wrestler in her high school's history. She became the North-East freestyle women's champion (72 kg weight class) in 1999. She also became the women's champion (72 kg weight class) at the New York State Fair Tournament in 1999, and was named the most outstanding wrestler that same year in the Brockport Freestyle Tournament. At the time she was also a member of USA Wrestling (a freestyle wrestling club). Her life goal was, according to her, to become a professional wrestler and she believed that having a solid amateur background would help her reach it. After graduating from High School in 1999 she enrolled in both a professional wrestling school and Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. Her first choice for wrestling school was Stu Harts Dungeon, but because of the location she decided on a more local school. At the school she ended up at she was trained by the All Knighters—Joey Knight and Robin Knightwing, who themselves were trained in the Hart Dungeon. She made the rounds competing with various independent companies including a match for the now defunct MadMar Entertainment in which her back was cut open due to a steel chair accidentily cutting her.

Beth Phoenix debuted on the May 8, 2006 episode of Monday Night RAW attacking Mickie James during her assault on Trish Stratus. After this incident James began berating her for "ruining everything" and questioning why she even showed up in the first place.

A week later, Beth was formally introduced by Trish Stratus and then battered a distracted Mickie on Trish's behalf. When Mickie finally escaped Beth claimed that Mickie had ruined her life and she wouldn't let her get away with it before calling her a psycho. In the following edition of RAW Beth, now an official RAW diva, again attacked the Women's Champion at that time after her match with Torrie Wilson.

On the May 29, 2006 episode of RAW, Beth teamed up with WWE Diva Torrie Wilson to take on Candice Michelle and Victoria. Also, Trish Stratus was in Beth and Torrie's corner and Mickie James was in Candice and Victoria's corner. Beth pinned Candice after a Down In Flames.

The following week, on the June 5, 2006 episode of RAW (in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), Beth came out to the ring with a new theme. She suffered a fractured mandible during a match with Victoria (she was victorious despite the injury) from an open hand slap.. The injury required surgery to place a titanium plate into her jaw, which was a success yet still forced her out of action for an estimated two months. On the June 12, 2006 episode of RAW Mickie was interviewed by Todd Grisham and revealed that she and Beth were grade school friends before but Beth started to "become mean". Since then, Beth has not appeared on any RAW shows and her profile has recently been removed from the WWE website.

On August 16, 2006, Beth returned to action in OVW as the surprise opponent for Serena in a number one contenders match - she was hand picked by OVW women's champion ODB herself to be the opponent. After a distraction from Charles Evans, Phoenix picked up the win hitting Serena with her Down in Flames finisher.

The following week, both Serena & Phoenix wanted a title shot, so ODB said if they can beat her in a tag match, the pinfall winner will receive a shot. Serena won the match for her and Beth's team by pinning newcomer Katie Lea (but only after Beth hit the Down in Flames on Lea and was forced to leave the ring as she wasn't the legal woman in the match). So, in the interest of fairness, the following week, it was announced that there would be a women's battle royal with the title on the line - Beth, Serena, Katie Lea & ODB were the final four women in the ring, with ODB eventually coming out on top.

The following week ODB put her women's title on the line in a four-way that also featured Beth, Serena & Katie Lea. Serena won the match following a spear on ODB, but after the match Phoenix laid out Serena with her newly won belt. At the October 4, 2006 OVW TV Tapings, Beth defeated Serena to capture the OVW Women's Championship. On the November 4 show, Beth lost the OVW women's title to Katie Lea in a gauntlet match - defeating the likes of Roni Jonah, Meloday, Ariel and Jenny Mae first. Lea, Serena, ODB & Beth were the final four in the match with Lea coming out on top.

Phoenix & Lea entered into a feud with each other, with Beth claiming that Lea never defeated her for her title so she was still the champion, Beth even came out with her own version of the OVW women's championship. This brought out Danny Basham (OVW's TroubleShooter), who told Beth her title wasn't real, and that after doing some digging Lea's title wasn't real either, he set a ladder match up where the winner would become the undisputed OVW women's champion, Lea came out ontop in the match, and on the first show of 2007 was presented with the new belt, Phoenix, took the belt from Basham, and after taking a look for herself, handed the Belt to Lea and shook her hand.

WWE: Molly Holly

Nora Kristina Greenwald , better known by her ring name, Molly Holly, is an American pro wrestler. Greenwald is best known for her appearances with WCW and WWE.

In August 2005, she released an autobiographical DVD entitled "Nora Greenwald: Shootin' the Shi Crap" that detailed the reasons behind her departure.

On January 8, 2006 in Amery, Wisconsin, Greenwald made her first in-ring appearance in nine months, appearing with Northern IMPACT Wrestling, a local Minnesota/Wisconsin wrestling promotion. In addition to refereeing a match between Rain and Ann-Thraxx, Greenwald returned to the ring near the conclusion of the main event match between Team Revolution and Team Invasion to make the decisive three-Team Revolution. She went on to referee an Impact Zone Wrestling match on February 14, 2006 in Tempe, Arizona and a XJAM Wrestling match on February 16, 2006 in Minot, North Dakota. The latter occasion saw Greenwald challenge Ann-Thraxx to wrestle her, with Ann-Thraxx refusing.

On April 1, 2006, Greenwald attended the 2006 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Chicago, Illinois with her friend, SmackDown! referee Charles Robinson. On April 8, 2006, Greenwald appeared at the German Stampede Wrestling event International Impact III in Olsberg, Germany, commentating on a match along with former Pro Wrestling Illustrated senior editor Bill Apter and refereeing a women's match. In subsequent months, she made appearances at several independent wrestling events.

Greenwald has stated that she currently has no intention of returning to wrestling full-time. In addition to her sporadic wrestling appearances, Greenwald acts as a landlady with regards to her property holdings and performs charity work.

In the fall of 2006, Greenwald and fellow former WWE diva Lisa Moretti went on a road trip in celebration of Trish Stratus' retirement and wedding called the Wedding Tour Wrestling Road Trip- wrestling at independent shows on the drive from Minneapolis to Toronto.

On October 7, 2006, Greenwald returned to in-ring action for the first time since April 2005 by defeating Jonny Fairplay after a quick low blow and pinfall in a WCWA event. The match was believed to have lasted less than 30 seconds.

On November 4, 2006, Greenwald made a brief surprise appearance at the World Series of Wrestling in West St. Paul, Minnesota, when at the conclusion of the 8-man elimination main event after both referees were knocked out, she ran in and counted the pinfall for Arik Cannon over John Johnson. Afterwards, she gave the "C.E.O." of Northstar Premier Wrestling a "Stone Cold Stunner" after he shoved her.

In March 2007, Greenwald became the "target" of a verbal tirade by Boles Creek Wrestling wrestler "The Future" Dustin Wood, who made fun of her, her friend BCW announcer and Greenwald's Garage webmaster "The Standard" Mike Summers and young singer Brianna Rieffel in a controversial BCW Backstage Axcess video, leading to a feud between Summers and Wood that may possibly include Greenwald, though there is no indication that it will happen. It was briefly mentioned at Gerweck.net.

WWE:Michelle McCool

Wrestler: Michelle McCool
Billed height 5 ft 10 in (177.8 cm)
Billed weight 122 lb. (55.3 kg)
Born January 25, 1980,Palatka, Florida
Trained by OVW staff,DSW staff,Dave Finlay,Bill DeMott
Pro Wrestling Debut November 18, 2004

Michelle Leigh McCool, also known simply as Michelle McCool, is an American pro wrestler currently working for WWEas part of the SmackDown! brand. Before becoming involved in pro wrestling she was a sixth grade teacher in Palatka, Florida.

Michelle McCool first came to WWE as a competitor in the 2004 Diva Search, from which she was the 4th woman eliminated. Despite not winning the contest, she was still signed to a 3-year WWE developmental contract in November 2004 and assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling. She entered SmackDown! as a face with a personal trainer gimmick, a reference to her actual past employment. Unlike most of the other "Rookie Divas" who participated in the RAW Diva Search, McCool aimed to become an actual pro wrestler.

After participating in a number of "Rookie Diva" and "Best body" contests she had her first SmackDown match, teaming with The Big Show to defeat Dawn Marie and René Duprée on March 3, 2005. McCool and Dawn Marie feuded for the next few weeks, with Marie coming out on top.

A few months later McCool became apart of the feud between MNM and Heidenreich when she defended Heidenreich against things MNMs manager Melina was saying about him. Melina and McCool had a short feud between them, which included Melina's debut match (and win). After the match, MNM gave McCool their finisher, The Snapshot. This would be the last time she appeared on WWE Television for almost a year.

McCool was then sent to WWE's Atlanta, Georgia territory, Deep South Wrestling (DSW), where she wrestled, performed interviews, hosted segments and provided color commentary with Nigel Sherrod. She also got involved in a small feud with Angel Williams. While in DSW she was once hospitalized after taking prescribed medication. She was sidelined for several weeks to recover before being able to return. Eventually she was moved to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). While in OVW, she was paired with and managed Amish Roadkill and K.C. James.

She returned to SmackDown! on June 2, 2006, this time working as a heel with a "hot teacher" gimmick, again pulling on her real life experiences. Upon her arrival she aligned herself with Kristal Marshall to feud with Jillian Hall and Ashley Massaro. She won her first singles match on the July 28, 2006 edition of SmackDown!, defeating Hall by illegally using the ropes as leverage. Soon after she began acting as valet for the team of K.C. James and Idol Stevens, who, because of her association with them, were nicknamed "The Teacher's Pets". The trio began feuding with Paul London and Brian Kendrick, and their valet Ashley Massaro, for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

On November 28, 2006, McCool was hospitalized with an enlarged kidney and electrolyte imbalance. She was released from the hospital on December 2nd.

TNA: Gail Kim , part 2

Gail Kim returned to RAW on April 5, 2004 and immediately reforged her alliance with Holly. She dropped her high flying style (possibly to avoid further injury) and adopted a new submission-based technique and dubbed herself "wrestling's submission specialist". At Bad Blood on June 13, 2004 she faced Lita, Stratus and WWE Women's Champion Victoria in a title match which was won by Stratus (the match was supposed to have her take on Victoria until a last-minute change had Stratus and Lita inserted into the match). Kim continued to compete in the women's division, receiving several more shots at the title (including a battle royal on October 19, 2004 at Taboo Tuesday) and joining fellow heel divas Stratus and Holly in a feud with diva Stacy Keibler. On November 3, 2004 Kim was released by WWE (this came somewhat unexpectedly, given that she had appeared on RAW just two days earlier, attacking Lita along with Stratus following a confrontation between the two).

Following her release and the expiration of her ninety-day no-compete clause, Kim made sporadic appearances on the independent circuit, wrestling matches in Mexico, South Korea and Australia. She posed for several magazines, and appeared topless in a mobile phone advertisement.

On September 6, 2005, TNA Wrestling announced that they had signed Gail Kim to a contract.

On the October 8, 2005 edition of TNA iMPACT!, Kim made her debut, teaming with Jeff Jarrett and America's Most Wanted by attacking Team 3D. Shortly thereafter, she helped AMW regain the NWA World Tag Team Wrestling Championship from The Naturals. On November 26, Kim was attacked by the debuting Jackie Gayda. She spent the remainder of the year and early 2006 filming her part in the film "Royal Kill" before returning to TNA and rekindling her feud with Gayda.

Between February and April 2006 Kim was the guardian of Jackie Gayda, who had been blackmailed into joining the Planet Jarrett stable. The two women frequently fought one another during matches featuring members of Planet Jarrett as Gayda attempted to cost them the match. Gayda was "fired" by Kim at TNA Sacrifice 2006 on May 14, 2006 after announcing that she was pregnant.

On May 15, 2006 in Orlando, Florida, Kim wrestled Traci in a dark match to be featured on the TNA Knockouts DVD. The match was the first women's wrestling match in TNA in over a year, and Kim's first match on American soil since her WWE release. Since then, Kim was attacked at TNA Slammiversary 2006 by Sirelda . The weeks after this, the two traded blows, until TNA Victory Road 2006, where Sirelda's team defeated Kim's. At TNA Hard Justice 2006, they faced off against each other in a one-on-one match, where Kim would defeat her.

On the October 19, 2006 iMPACT!, Kim was (kayfabe) injured in the ring by Hernandez when he gave her a Bordertoss following a loss in an eight man tag match where Latin American Exchange (Hernandez and Homicide) were teaming with America's Most Wanted. At TNA Genesis 2006, America's Most Wanted lost to LAX after James Storm was hit with a blowtorch can. After the match Homicide tried to use Da Gringo Killa on her, but she was saved by Petey Willams who came out to give LAX a beating with a lead pipe.

At TNA's Final Resolution Pay-Per-View, Kim accompanied James Storm to ringside where he defeated Petey Williams with his feet on the ropes. However, she helped Williams from further assault by taking Storm's infamous beer bottle out of his hand and giving him a low blow. Kim was then jumped from behind by a returning Jacqueline Moore. Jacqueline then took over as Storm's new manager, and Kim became Williams' manager. After a mixed tag match between the two duos at Against All Odds 2007, "the Wildcat" Chris Harris returned to chase away Storm and Moore.

Gail Kim is a Korean Canadian pro wrestler, valet and actress. Kim is perhaps best known for her appearances with WWE between October 2002 and November 2004. She is currently working for TNA Wrestling and recently finished working on the movie Royal Kill.

Kim attended the York Memorial Collegiate Institute in Toronto, participating in numerous sports and was twice named "Athlete of the Year". Upon her graduation, she started studying kinesiology at the University of Toronto, but later switched over to nutrition at Ryerson University.

After she obtained her degree, Gail decided to become a professional wrestler, and joined Ron Hutchison's "School of Pro Wrestling" in Toronto, also receiving training from Rob Etchevarria at the "Squared Circle Pro Wrestling Gym". She debuted in December 2000 under a mask as "The Queen of the Cats" La Felina in the Southern Ontario-based Apocalypse Wrestling Federation, and was eventually unmasked by Tracy Brooks in a "mask versus hair" match. Kim worked on the Canadian independent circuit for two years, wrestling for promotions such as Border City Wrestling. On September 27, 2002, Kim reached the semi-finals of the WXW Women's Elite 8 Tournament in Danbury, Connecticut, defeating Nikki Roxx and April Hunter before losing to Tracy Brooks.

Kim was introduced to WWF employee Molly Holly by Jason Sensation at WWF Fan Axxess in 2001, and gave Holly a videotape of herself to show to WWF officials. In October 2002 she was hired by the WWF, now renamed WWE. She spent eight months training in Ohio Valley Wrestling and appearing on house shows and dark matches before being called up to the main roster in June 2003. After several weeks, during which vignettes showcasing Matrix-like effects aired on WWE RAW, Kim debuted on the June 30, 2003 episode of RAW as a face, with a Matrix-like gimmick including shades and a long trench coat, using her real name.

Her first televised WWE match was a seven-woman battle royal in Buffalo, New York, with the WWE Women's Wrestling Championship, then held by an injured Jazz, on the line. Kim won the match, lastly eliminating Victoria, in the process making history for the quickest acquisition of the title by any female. She became the first female with a Korean background to win the Women's Championship. Kim held the title for four weeks, feuding with Victoria and Molly Holly. Kim lost the title to Molly Holly on the July 28, 2003 episode of RAW. On the August 4, 2003 episode of RAW, Molly Holly successfully defended her title in a match with Trish Stratus. Following the bout, Stratus was double teamed by Holly and Victoria until Kim ran to the ring. Kim helped Stratus up, but then turned heel by levelling Stratus with a spinebuster.

Kim started an alliance with Holly, and the duo defeated Stratus, partnered with Ivory and Jacqueline, on two straight occasions. The following week, on the September 15, 2003 episode of RAW, they defeated Stratus in a handicap match. Following the match, Kim and Holly were prevented from further assaulting Stratus by the return of Lita, who had been absent since injuring her neck in 2002. At Unforgiven 2003 on September 21, 2003 Stratus and Lita defeated Kim and Holly in a tag match. The four women continued to feud until November 10, 2003, when Kim was sidelined with a broken right collarbone, suffered after tripping off the top rope during a Sunday Night HEAT match against Stratus.

Hometown: Hartford, Connecticut
Height and Weight: 5'5" - 140 lbs
Trained by: The Monster Factory

How It Started: I have always loved wrestling since I was little. My favorite was the Junkyard Dog. Then I became a diehard Hulkamaniac and Hart Foundation fan. My brothers and I would wrestle all the time--much to my mother's and furniture's dismay! When they came out with the wrestling figures(LJN), I started collecting them. I still collect figures to this day. (It's definitely a conversation piece!) I really wasn't aware of wrestling schools until they did the first Tough Enough. I started researching schools and asking wrestlers about schools. Sgt.Slaughter and Hacksaw Jim Duggan actually led me to the school I trained at: The Monster Factory.

Pro Wrestling Debut 1998

Melissa Anderson (born August 17, 1982 in Los Angeles, California) is an American professional wrestler, better known by her ring name Cheerleader Melissa.

Melissa is one of the few second-generation female wrestlers. Her father, Doug Anderson, wrestled professionally before her in the early 1980s. Before she took up pro wrestling, Melissa wrestled on the high school amateur wrestling team. She got her start from her father's former tag team partner Billy Anderson (no relation) and Jesse Hernandez and was trained by him briefly in 1998. Melissa's first match was on August 17, 1999 (which happened to be her birthday) against Lexie Fyfe in Douglas, Wyoming.

Melissa got her cheerleading gimmick when she became the valet for the Ballard Brothers, a Canadian tag team. She credits them with helping her in the ring when she was first starting out. She also received training from Christopher Daniels for a short period of time before moving on to All Pro Wrestling where she trained under the tutelage of Robert Thompson and Bryan Danielson.

Melissa was personally invited, along with Taylor Matheny, to wrestle and train for three months at Arsion, a prestigious wrestling promotion in Tokyo, Japan. Her favourite matches she worked in Arsion were a 15-minute draw against Rie Tamada and her loss to Mariko Yoshida.

Most recently, Melissa has been wrestling for SHIMMER Women Athletes among many other independent promotions. Melissa has been involved in all seven of the ChickFight tournaments, and won the fifth, on 6/24/06 in San Francisco, California, and the seventh, in Norfolk in the United Kingdom. In the first round of the ChickFight tournaments she is 5-0-2.

On the May 26 (taped May 22), 2006 edition of WWE.com Heat Melissa wrestled in a match against Victoria in Las Vegas, Nevada under the name "Melissa Anderson". Melissa lost to a Widow's Peak. One night before that, she wrestled in two matches (against Allison Danger and MsChif, respectively) for SHIMMER in Chicago, Illinois.

On January 7, 2007, Anderson won Pro Wrestling World-1's Queen's Cup tournament, earning herself a number one contendership for the AWA World Women's Championship. Though known for touring Japan, Melissa also toured the United Kingdom in that same month. On the tour she won the seventh ChickFight tournament, and competed at Real Quality Wrestling's No Pain, No Gain 2007, where she faced MsChif and Eden Black in an unsuccessful attempt to take Black's RQW Women's Championship.

When not wrestling, Melissa works security at a department store and as a personal secretary.
She is the first female to ever be awarded the "Future Legend" award by the Cauliflower Alley Club.
Melissa has participated in WWE workouts against Ivory, Molly Holly and Jazz.
German Stampede Wrestling chose Melissa to compete against Wesna in Germany as the best USA had to offer.
Her favorite opponents include Mariko Yoshida, Wesna and Tiffany.
Melissa won Attack of the Show's "MySpace Girl of the Week" contest on September 6, 2006. She appeared on the show in person rather than the usual via webcam format and went on to participate in later segments of the show. Video of the appearance can be found on the G4 website.

WWF,WCW: Terri Ann Boatwright Runnels, Part 2

wwf, wwe, wwe divas, female wrestling, women wrestling, wrestling women

Terri then began a feud with The Kat because she was jealous of the latter's TV exposure. At WrestleMania 2000, Terri defeated The Kat in a Catfight. The next week on RAW, Terri invited The Kat to a beauty salon. However, Terri spiked The Kat's drink and dyed and cut her hair while she was unconscious. On May 6 at Insurrextion in London, England, Terri lost to The Kat in a Arm Wrestling match, but stripped her topless afterwards.

In June 2000, Terri formed an alliance with Dean Malenko, and on June 6 on RAW, Malenko faced Jerry Lawler (representing The Kat) in a "Over the Top, Off with the Top" Match in Worcester, Massachusetts. Though Malenko lost, Terri was covered up by Steven Richards before she could strip topless. The Kat went on to defeat her in a thong Stinkface Match at SummerSlam 2000.

In mid-2000, Terri became the onscreen girlfriend and manager of Perry Saturn and joined the Radicalz. The partnership lasted until Saturn, concussed by a double powerbomb delivered by The Acolytes, opted to continue seeing "Moppy" (a mop he believed was alive) when Terri told him to get rid of the mop or she would leave him. Terri then became the manager of wrestler Raven and joined the WCW/ECW Alliance in order to enact revenge upon Saturn, a goal she achieved when Raven stole the mop and fed it into a wood chipper.

In late 2001, Terri replaced Trish Stratus as the host of the WWE recap program "Excess" after Stratus became a full-time wrestler. She briefly feuded with Stratus, resulting in a wet t-shirt contest between the two on Raw, which was interrupted by Jazz. Runnels held the role until the program was cancelled. She then became a backstage interviewer. She wrestled the occasional match and has brief feuds with Molly Holly and Stacy Keibler. Terri defeated Keibler in the first ever Lingerie Pillow Fight. On May 27, 2002 she briefly held the perpetually contested Hardcore Title when she pinned a dazed Steven Richards, though he immediately pinned her to regain the title. She also began an onscreen romance with Kane which was abandoned when Kane turned heel in June 2003. Terri declined to train as a full-time wrestler, preferring to act as a manager if possible.

On April 3, 2004 Terri was granted a release from her WWE contract. She has since made a number of appearances on the independent circuit. On June 5, 2004 she acted as guest ring announcer for Harley Race's World League Wrestling promotion, and prevented Johnny Gold from interfering in the main event. She resumed a managerial role on July 10, 2004, leading Brian Costello to a victory over The Barbarian at IAW: Clash at the Cove 6. On January 18, 2005 she managed the Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Dennis Condrey) in a Steel Cage Match which they lost to the Fantastics (Tommy Rogers and Bobby Fulton) in the Southern Championship Wrestling promotion.

In March 2005 Terri stated in an interview that "I am through with wrestling"; it remains to be seen if she has completely retired.

In May 2006 Terri stated in a news article that she had started a program called "Soccertots" a franchised program that uses fun activities to develop physical and mental skills.

Retired March 2005

Terri Ann Boatwright Runnels is a former American professional wrestling manager. She is best known for her eight year career with WWE, and as the former wife of Dustin Runnels.

Runnels was originally a make-up artist for CNN, and worked in the same studios in which episodes of WCW were taped. When WCW was purchased by Ted Turner in 1988, booker Ole Anderson invited her to become part of the roster. Terri debuted in 1990 as Miss Alexandra York, an accountant who led the WCW faction known as the York Foundation. The York Foundation was a consortium of wrestlers with finance themed gimmicks, including Terrance Taylor, Richard Morton, Thomas Rich and Michael Wallstreet. Terri carried a laptop (actually a Tandy 100 computer, which at that time had been obsolete for about six years) to ringside which she purportedly calculated the means (and time) necessary for her clients to win matches.

Terri debuted in the WWF at the 1996 Royal Rumble as Marlena, the cigar-smoking manager and wife of her real-life husband Dustin Runnels, then packaged as the eccentric, cross-dressing, bisexual wrestler Goldust. Terri managed Goldust until on November 3, 1997 he revealed his new valet, Luna Vachon. Terri disappeared from TV, re-emerging in 1998 as the manager of Val Venis. Venis fired her and ended their relationship when Terri announced that she was pregnant.

In November 1998 the jilted Terri formed the stable "Pretty Mean Sisters" (P.M.S.) with Jacqueline and Ryan Shamrock, both of whom also had reason to resent men. In one of the more controversial WWF storylines, when D'Lo Brown accidentally knocked Terri from the ring apron to the floor during a match, she claimed to have suffered a miscarriage. This was later found to be untrue, as was the entire pregnancy, but in the meantime Terri used the incident to exert control over D'Lo, who became a virtual servant to P.M.S. The stable eventually grew to encompass Meat, a male wrestler who the ladies constantly abused. P.M.S. gradually drifted apart, and the stable finally split in August 1999.

In late 1999, Terri arranged the "Terri Invitational Tournament" between Edge and Christian and The Hardy Boyz, with the winner receiving her managerial services and the sum of $100,000. The Hardy Boyz won the Tournament, which culminated in a Ladder Match at No Mercy 1999 (with the prize money suspended above the ring in a briefcase), and Terri spent the next few months as their manager until she was injured when Bubba Ray Dudley powerbombed her through a table on January 24, 2000. Terri returned on February 27, 2000 and cost the Hardy Boyz a match, complaining that they had not visited her while hospitalized. She then became the manager of Edge and Christian, but cost them numerous matches, including a bout for the WWF World Tag Team Championships. After she cost Christian a match on an episode of SmackDown!, Edge and Christian dispensed with her services. After Terri mocked the departing tag team with her signature "she-devil" taunt, Edge, noticing the gesture on the Titantron, turned around and speared Terri.

Rena Mero (born August 8th, 1967) is an American model, actress, and professional wrestler. She is primarily known for her stints in World Wrestling Entertainment as the buxom Sable character. As Sable, she was one of the first WWE Divas, gaining considerable popularity and gracing the cover of Playboy several times.

Born Rena Greek in Jacksonville, Florida, she was active in her youth and was interested in activities such as gymnastics, horseback riding and softball. After winning her first beauty pageant at 12 years of age, she eventually became a model, working with companies such as L'Oreal, Pepsi and Guess?.

In June 1999, Rena Mero quit the WWF and filed a $110 million lawsuit against the company, with allegations of sexual harassment and unsafe working conditions. During the course of the lawsuit, Vince McMahon counter-sued Rena over the WWF licensing of the name Sable. Mero reduced her settlement figure and eventually settled out of court. Subsequently, her husband Mark was released from his WWF contract. Mero used her real name for her appearance in September 1999's issue of Playboy. After her WWF exit, she made an on-camera appearance as an audience member on World Championship Wrestling's WCW Monday Nitro, but was contractually forbidden from working for WCW, although she stated that she wanted to.

Ring name(s) Layla El
Billed height 152 cm (5ft 2in)
Billed weight 52kg (115lbs)
Born June 28, 1978,London, England
Resides Miami, Florida
Pro Wrestling Debut: 2006

Layla El (born on June 25, 1978) is a professional wrestling diva of English and Moroccan heritage currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment working on its ECW brand.

Before she was a part of WWE, she was a dancer for the NBA's Miami Heat. She has also danced for Kanye West at the MTV Video Music Awards. She was raised in London, England, and currently resides in Miami, Florida.

Layla El first became known in the world of professional wrestling when she tried out for, and eventually won, the $250,000 WWE Diva Search contest in 2006. During the contest she won a week's worth of "immunity" on the July 14 (taped July 11) edition of Friday Night SmackDown when she won Sgt. Slaughter 's "Diva Boot Camp" obstacle course. She is said to have jumped over the tire hop section of the course instead of going through it and to have not had both of her feet cross the finish line due to her doing a split, but she was awarded immunity anyway. She won another competition, the "Diva Search Talent Show", on the August 11 SmackDown!, when she danced dressed as a police officer. She won the entire Diva Search, beating out Jen England in the finals on August 16.

She made her first "official" WWE appearance at the 2006 SummerSlam in a backstage segment with several other divas, during which they initially taunted and teased her before revealing that "it was all in fun" and part of an "initiation" of sorts. Afterwards they dragged her into the showers, fully clothed, spanking her and laughing.

The week after SummerSlam El made her Pro Wrestling Debut: as a member of the SmackDown! brand in an interview with Mike "The Miz" Mizanin -- although he didn't allow her the chance to say much, spending most of the time talking about himself. After this she wasn't seen on WWE TV for weeks, reappearing during the September 22 SmackDown! and getting into confrontations with both Kristal Marshall and Jillian Hall. She again went missing for a number of weeks, resurfacing at October's No Mercy pay-per-view to embarrass The Miz by tricking him into getting a lap dance from Big Dick Johnson -- who was blindfolded and expecting it to be from her, since it was his birthday. Following that El was involved in a series of competitions with Michelle McCool, Ashley Massaro, Jillian Hall and Kristal Marshall -- including her official in-ring Pro Wrestling Debut: , a "Diva Trick-or-Treat Battle Royal". The battle royal ended in controversial fashion when she was pulled from the ring apron by The Miz, causing her to lose.

On January 23, 2007, after not being used much on SmackDown!, El was moved to the ECW brand. On ECW she joined up with Brooke Adams and Kelly Kelly as Extreme Exposé, performing a weekly dance segment with the group.
