WWE NXT April 27, 2016 - Carmella vs Aliyah

Here are some pictures from the match between WWE NXT Divas Carmella and Aliyah.
Aliyah did pretty darn well for herself but Carmella clamped on that Modified figure-four headscissors (does that have a name yet?) and it was all over.

Nikki Storm - WWE Women

26 year old old Nicola Glencross, from Glasgow, Scotland has signed with the WWE in NXT.
Better known as Nikki Storm, this five foot one, 121 pound beauty reminds me a lot physically of former WWE Diva Kaitlyn.
And Kaitlyn was really popular in the WWE.
Nikki has been wrestling for eight years on the independent circuit and she is a welcome addition to NXT.
My hope is that eventually we will get to see her and Becky Lynch as tag team partners.
C'mon WWE, bring back the Women's Tag Team Belts!
I have been asking for that for years!

Updates - Velvet Sky, Maryse and Melina

Is TNA Knockout Velvet Sky going to be on Dancing With The Stars?

Well she will be if TNA can do anything about it.
Over at ImpactWrestling.com they have a link to click to vote for Velvet to be on DWTS.
http://www.impactwrestling.com/news/item/2980-Vote-For-Velvet-Sky-For-The-Next-Season-Of-Dancing-With-The-Stars
Why not?
Stacy Keibler and Jericho have both done it.
It would be great PR for TNA.

Maryse is healing up from her hernia surgery and posted this over at FrenchKissMaryse.com:

Hey planet sexy,

I met with my surgeon today and she said everything is perfect. There’s a little bit of fluid inside by the incision and where the repairs were done, but its totally normal apparently. The scar healed really good and there is no infection. So the surgery was a total success. I’m sooooooo happy!!!

Be Sexy!!!

And finally, I mentioned over at Beautiful Women of Wrestling that former WWE Diva will be taking on another former WWE Diva Serena Deeb, on November 19th at the Womens' Superstars Unleashed iPPV at the ACE Arena in Union City, NJ.

Well right after that (and I mean RIGHT after that) Melina and Serena (along with another ex-WWE Diva Jillian Hall) will be appearing on the WASP (Wrestling All Star Pros) tour in Mexico on November 20th.
You can see more about that here:

The Divas Versus the Knockouts, Who Would Win? Part One

So who would win in a knock down drag out brawl between the WWE Divas and the TNA Knockouts?
I decided to try this out myself in my head.
Now I have to admit, I only have about 30 some odd years of watching wrestling and 14 years of martial arts experience to base this stuff on, so your mileage may vary.

Well first up, the Divas have a slight number advantage, 17 on the roster as opposed to 15 on the Knockouts side.

Both teams get their Captains....
Since this is war, the Diva's differ to the most experienced women on their roster.
Believe it or not, Jillian debuted in 1998 as Macaela Mercedes on the independent circuit.
Mickie James debuted in 1999, so there you have the two captains.

The Knockouts have a harder time.
ODB, Daffney, Alissa (Cheerleader Melissa), and Ayako all debuted in 1998-1999.
So in the spirit of co-operation, the Knockouts get four Captains.

So first off we have the WWE "rookie" Brie Bella against the TNA rookie, Madison Rayne.
Brie has held the...ummmm....well she was on the Fox reality show Meet My Folks.....
Madison on the other hand was the Ohio Championship Womens Wrestling Champ twice and one half of the Shimmer Tag Team Championship with Nevaeh.
So advantage Madison.

First match, Madison over Brie.

Second match, Brie's sister Nikki against Knockout "bad girl" (or loon) Rhaka Khan.
Nikki was...ummm...okay, she was one of the World Cup Twins for Budweiser....
Rhaka on the other hand is six foot two and has wrestled for Deep South Wrestling (DSW), Japan's Pro Wrestling ZERO1-MAX, Full Impact Pro, Women's Extreme Wrestling and the Professional Girl Wrestling Association.
Advantage Rhaka.

Second match, Rhaka over Nikki.

Third match, Alicia Fox versus Christy Hemme.
Alicia was actually the OVW Women's Champion at one time.
Christy has wrestled for WWE, TNA, Queens of Chaos in France, Heavy on Wrestling and Women Superstars Uncensored.
Gonna have to give this one to Christy.

Third Match, Christy over Alicia.

Fourth match, Sojourner Bolt versus Layla.
Layla was a dancer for Carnival Cruise Lines and the Miami Heat.
Sojo was the Midwest Intensity Wrestling Women's Champion, the NWA Midwest Women's Champion, the OVW Women's Champion three times, the World League Wrestling Women's Champion twice, and the Hardcore Wrestling Association Women's Champion.
Layla, no matter how hot she is, is lucky to get outta this one alive.

Fourth match, Sojo wipes the mat up with Layla.

Fifth match, Taylor Wilde versus Kelly Kelly.
Okay, I admit it, I hated Kelly at first. But she has improved.
But putting the former Hawaiian Tropic and Venus Swimwear bikini model against the former New Vision Pro Wrestling Womens Champion, RingDivas FightGirl World Champion, TNA Women's Knockout Champion and co-holder of the Women Superstars Uncensored Tag Team Championship (with Amy Lee)?
Advantage Taylor.

Fifth match, Taylor Wilde.

Sixth match, Rosa Mendes versus Sarita.
Now Rosa did hold the Ohio Valley Wrestling Women's Championship once.
While Sarita (Sarah Stock/Dark Angel) has only held the Can-Am Wrestling Women's Championship, Federación Internacional de Lucha Libre Women's Championship and the Lucha Libre Feminil Juvenil Championship....I have seen the brutal matches with Dark Angel versus Princesa Sugey. At least one went 45 minutes.
Sarita easy.

Sixth match, Sarita over Rosa.

Now we get down to Awesome Kong versus..well lets just get Eve and Maria out of this now.
The 6'1, 272 pound Kong versus Eve and Maria both at once.
Eve, 5'8, 131 and Maria 5'7, 120 pounds.
One Awesome Bomb and one Awesome Splash and Maria and Eve are on the injured reserve list.

Seventh match, Awesome Kong.

Now the Diva's are really beginning to worry.
But they are down to the core fighters on both sides.
And things may change just a bit in part two.....

More WWE Diva Ashley Massaro News

WWE's Ashley Massaro grapples to pin down 'Survivor' win
By RICHARD HUFF

No doubt, as a WWE wrestler Ashley Massaro can handle herself in the ring.

But the real question is: How can she handle herself in the wild - as in China? The Long Island native is one of the castaways on "Survivor: China," which launches Thursday at 8 p.m.

"I actually went crazy trying to train as much as possible," said Massaro, who also appeared on the cover and inside the April issue of Playboy. "I just brushed up on my outdoor skills a little bit, practiced with a flint and all that stuff."

Massaro is one of 16 players who were left to fend for themselves in China in a quest to win $1 million. Also on the show is professional poker player (and fellow Long Islander) Jean-Robert Bellande and Courtney Yates, a New York City waitress who grew up in Boston.

"We have some pretty good characters," said host Jeff Probst. "This season, we have some very big characters."

Among them, of course, is Massaro

Michelle McCool - WWE Diva

Michelle Leigh McCool (born January 25, 1980), also known simply as Michelle McCool, is an American professional wrestler currently working for World Wrestling Entertainment under the SmackDown! brand. Before becoming involved in professional wrestling, she was a sixth grade teacher in Palatka, Florida

Michelle McCool first came to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as a competitor in the WWE Diva Search 2004, from which she was the 4th woman eliminated. Despite not winning the contest, she was still signed to a 3-year WWE developmental contract in November 2004 and assigned to the Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) farm territory. She entered SmackDown! as a face with a personal trainer gimmick, a reference to her actual past employment. Unlike most of the other "Rookie Divas" who participated in the Diva Search, McCool aimed to become an actual professional wrestler.

After participating in a number of "Rookie Diva" and "Best body" contests, she had her first SmackDown! match, teaming with The Big Show to defeat Dawn Marie and René Duprée on March 3, 2005. McCool and Dawn Marie feuded for the next few weeks, with Marie coming out on top.

A few months later, McCool became apart of the feud between MNM and Heidenreich when she defended Heidenreich against MNM's manager Melina's verbal attacks. Melina and McCool then began a feud, including Melina's SmackDown! debut match, which Melina won. After the match, MNM gave McCool their finisher, The Snapshot. This would be the last time she appeared on WWE Television for almost a year.

McCool was then sent to WWE's Atlanta, Georgia territory, Deep South Wrestling (DSW), where she wrestled, performed interviews, hosted segments, and provided color commentary with Nigel Sherrod. She also feuded with Angel Williams. While in DSW, she was hospitalized after taking prescribed medication, and she was sidelined for several weeks to recover. Eventually she was moved to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). While in OVW, she began managing the duo of Amish Roadkill and K.C. James.

She returned to SmackDown! on June 2, 2006, this time working as a heel with a "hot teacher" gimmick, again pulling on her real life experiences. Upon her arrival, she aligned with Kristal Marshall to feud with then-faces Jillian Hall and Ashley Massaro. This led to a Fatal Four Way Bra and Panties match at The Great American Bash, which Ashley won. She won her first singles match on the July 28, 2006 edition of SmackDown!, defeating Hall by illegally using the ropes as leverage.

Soon after, she began acting as valet for the team of K.C. James and Idol Stevens, who, because of her association with them, were nicknamed The Teacher's Pets. The trio began feuding with Paul London and Brian Kendrick, and their valet Ashley, for the WWE Tag Team Championship, but never won the title. The feud ended when London and Kendrick won a blow off match at No Mercy 2006 in October.

On November 28, 2006, McCool was hospitalized with an enlarged kidney, a broken sternum, and an electrolyte imbalance.During her absence, both James and Stevens were sent back to OVW. She was released from the hospital on December 2, 2006.

McCool returned on the March 30, 2007 edition of SmackDown!, where she participated in a 10-Diva Tag Team Match and participated in the LumberJills match at WrestleMania 23 between Ashley and Melina. McCool turned face once again when she came to the aid of Ashley after she was attacked by Jillian Hall backstage, which led to a short feud between herself and Hall.

WWE Divas - Lita

Number 13 is another lady that has left the WWE.....

Amy Christine Dumas (born April 14, 1975) is an American former professional wrestler for the WWE, better known by the ring name Lita, and lead singer of a punk rock band The Luchagors.

Amy Dumas attended many different schools throughout her childhood and adolescent years, and managed to finish high school six months prior to graduation. She also studied Spanish for three years. She attended college at Georgia State University, where she majored in education.

Amy had always been an excellent swimmer and, as an early adult, she practiced judo competitively. Dumas played bass guitar in a band called 3 Card Trick and was a roadie for another band, Fifteen (sometimes mistakenly believed to be the band 7 Seconds because they were Amy's favorite band), for five years before becoming a wrestler. Dumas first became interested in wrestling after watching Mexican luchador Rey Mysterio, Jr. wrestle on an episode of World Championship Wrestling's WCW Monday Nitro alongside her then-boyfriend, who was an avid wrestling fan. She traveled to Mexico to learn how to wrestle and learn more about the sport and also encounter a huge assortment of wrestlers such as Yoshihiro Tajiri, Val Venis, Essa Rios, Super Crazy, and Chris Jericho. As stated in her autobiography, Dumas financed her training by dancing in a club under the pseudonym Misty. During her stay in Mexico, Dumas trained under numerous wrestlers, including Kevin Quinn, Miguel Perez and Ricky Santana. Following the completion of her training, Dumas made several appearances with the Empresa Mexicana de la Lucha Libre, and spent ten days working for a promotion in Peru. Upon returning to the United States, Dumas began working as a valet on the independent circuit in such promotions as MCW under the ring name Angelica, at one point managing Christopher Daniels. In the spring of 1999, she was approached by Paul Heyman, the owner and booker of Extreme Championship Wrestling, then the third largest promotion in the United States. Dumas debuted in ECW as Miss Congeniality, the on-screen girlfriend of Danny Doring. Dumas later began using the name Angelica once again, and made her pay-per-view debut on July 18, 1999 at Heat Wave 1999.

Dumas was introduced to veteran wrestler Dory Funk, Jr. by ECW wrestler Rob Van Dam, and Funk invited her to attend his wrestling school, the Funkin' Conservatory. Dumas attended the school alongside 23 men, requesting that Funk treat her no differently from any other trainee. She graduated from the school in August 1999 and returned to ECW. In the meanwhile, Funk and his wife compiled video footage of Dumas and sent it to the World Wrestling Federation. The Federation was sufficiently impressed, and on November 1, 1999, Dumas was signed to a WWF developmental deal. She made her final appearance with ECW on October 23, 1999.

April 21,2007 ....UWF Amy "Lita" Dumas returned to wrestling, teaming with Jerry Lynn to defeat Christy Hemme and Austin Starr.

Amy is on Atlanta radio. Every Sunday night she has a music show called "Punk-RockAlypse" at Project961. com.

WWF: Chyna, part 4

Once again Chyna's "injuries" allowed her time off until April 2001 so she could promote her biography entitled "If They Only Knew". During this time off it was also announced that Chyna would be featured in a second Playboy Photo Shoot. In March Ivory announced that Chyna wanted another Women's Title shot and since she had put her out of action once, she would do it again at the Wrestlemania X-Seven PPV in April. Unfortunately things did not turn out like Ivory had planned as Chyna "pressed" Ivory above her head and then let her drop like a box of rocks for the win.

Chyna defended her belt only 4 times after that match, 2 matchups against Ivory, then Molly Holly and finally Lita at the Judgment Day PPV. All of a sudden the "Ninth Wonder Of The World" was dropped from WWF broadcasts, never to be seen again in the ring. Imagine this: Your the top female athlete in the WWF. You've won two Intercontinental titles vs. men and you've obtained the Women's Championship belt and are still undefeated! You've sold a bizillion copies of Playboy with another on the way, and your biography has sold well. Your definitely on top of the world and your contract is due for renewal. Shame on you, you ask for more money this time around and the WWF does what they did to the last female Superstar (Sable) they created - they don't want to pay!

Rumors were flying for many months about the negotiations, but none of them were giving Joanie much chance of reaching an agreement. Joanie was unable to come to terms with the WWF and has now opened up her own web site, continues to make personal appearances throughout the country and is trying to establish an acting career. In December 2001 it was announced that her 2nd Playboy magazine shoot was selling well, and it was rumored that Joanie had stated that she made more money from the two magazines than in her entire WWF career. Going from a physical female "brawler" to a full blown Diva, Chyna showed women that it was possible to make it in the testosterone male world of the WWF, and how to do it with class!

WWE - Torrie Wilson

Torrie Anne Wilson (born July 24, 1975), better known by the ring name Torrie Wilson is an American professional wrestler, fitness competitor and model currently working for World Wrestling Entertainment under the RAW brand.

Wilson has found considerable success in both World Championship Wrestling and in World Wrestling Entertainment as a valet and diva.

WWE - Torrie Wilson

In the final months of 2006, Torrie entered into a kayfabe relationship with Carlito. After Torrie's match with Victoria, Chris Masters ran to the ring and gave Torrie Wilson the Masterlock and released her when Carlito came to the rescue.

On the January 8 edition of Raw, Torrie helped Carlito defeat Chris Masters by hitting his left knee with the ring bell. On the January 15 edition of Raw, Vince McMahon made Torrie pretend to be Miss America. Carlito responded by calling Vince "not cool", resulting in Vince challenging Carlito to a match. Carlito accepted, unaware that his opponent would be none other than the Great Khali, and was defeated.

Terri Poch - WWE

Terri Poch - WWE

Wrestlers name(s) Terri Powers,Green Goddess,Ninja,Taylor Made,Tori

Billed weight 140 lb (64 kg)
Born August 20, 1967,Portland, Oregon
Trained by Brad Rheingans
Pro wrestling debut 1989
Retired 2001

Terri Poch (born August 20, 1967 in Portland, Oregon) is an American former professional wrestler, best known for her appearances with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) as Tori.

Terri Poch debuted in 1989 as Taylor Made, a valet for Scotty the Body in Portland's Pacific Northwest Wrestling. She joined the Ladies Professional Wrestling Association in 1990 as Terri Power, and on February 23, 1992 at Super Ladies Showdown in Rochester, Minnesota in the Mayo Civic Center she defeated Lady X for the LPWA Championship. She was never defeated for the title, as the LPWA ceased operations shortly after her victory. She also tag-teamed with Reggie Bennett during their mutual stint with the short-lived organization.

In the summer of 1992 Poch began wrestling in Japan for All Japan Women. She competed in the Japan Grand Prix, finishing ninth, and the Fuji Network Tag Team Tournament (with Kyoko Inoue as her partner). She remained in Japan until 1993, when she took a hiatus from wrestling.

In the autumn of 1998 Poch was hired by the WWF. She debuted on the December 28, 1998 episode of RAW is WAR entering the ring before a match to hand Sable a yellow rose. She continued to play the part of an obsessed fan over the next few weeks, constantly at ringside during Sable's matches. At the 1999 Royal Rumble she helped Sable defeat Luna Vachon in a Strap Match. Poch later introduced herself as Tori, and tried to gain the respect of Sable, but Sable continually degraded and humiliated her. This led to Poch challenging Sable to a match for the Women's Championship at WrestleMania XV. Poch was defeated following interference from Sable's bodyguard, Nicole Bass.

Poch feuded with Jacqueline in April and May 1999, and then began pursuing Ivory's Women's Championship in July. After Ivory defeated Poch at SummerSlam 1999, their feud became more and more heated, leading to the first ever WWF women's Hardcore Match on September 6. Ivory retained her title once more in a match which involved Tori having a mirror smashed over her head and being "burnt" with an iron. On September 26 Poch attempted to gain a measure of retribution by attacking Ivory during a match, but was pushed in a crate by Ivory. She was removed from television for several months thereafter.

Poch returned in November, teaming with Mae Young, The Fabulous Moolah and Debra to defeat Ivory, Luna, Terri Runnels and Jacqueline at Survivor Series. She also became the onscreen girlfriend of Kane. This led to a short feud between Kane and Viscera after Viscera repeatedly made unwelcome advances toward Poch.

On December 16 Poch complained to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon about Kane, by now feuding with his former tag team partner X-Pac (an ally of Triple H), being placed in a Handicap Match. Stephanie retorted by challenging Poch to a match that night, which she accepted. However, Stephanie replaced herself with X-Pac, who defeated Poch with ease as Kane was ambushed backstage by the Mean Street Posse.

Kane received a shot at the WWF Championship on December 20, but with the stipulation that, if he lost to Big Show (the incumbent), Poch would have to spend the Christmas weekend with X-Pac. Kane lost after the New Age Outlaws distracted him. However, Poch insisted upon her return that X-Pac had been a "perfect gentleman".

Poch began to become paranoid, and grew hysterical after Test hugged her. Kane promptly destroyed Test in the ring, believing Poch's claims that he had harassed her. Other wrestlers began to exploit Poch's neuroticism, using it to unleash Kane on their enemies.

Kane continued to feud with X-Pac, and on January 27, 2000 he was ambushed in the ring by the McMahon-Helmsley Faction (X-Pac's allies). After tying Kane up, X-Pac revealed that Poch was now with him. Poch turned heel, joining the faction and accompanying X-Pac and his partner Road Dogg to the ring. She helped X-Pac defeat Kane at No Way Out 2000, but he was beaten by Kane in their last match at WrestleMania 2000.

Poch continued to help X-Pac and Road Dogg, as well as helping Stephanie McMahon retain the Women's Championship in a match with Lita. The Faction began feuding with the Dudley Boyz, and Poch used a Flying Splash to drive Bubba Ray Dudley through a table on June 12. Bubba Ray gained revenge at King of the Ring 2000, where he powerbombed Poch through a table. Poch was sidelined with a torn labrum on June 24. She underwent surgery with Dr. James Andrews, and on October 30 she returned for one night, confronting and slapping X-Pac for failing to protect her.

Poch returned in January 2001 as The Ninja, a masked, anonymous figure wearing a black bodysuit who helped Raven retain the Hardcore Championship, attacking his opponents and acting as a getaway driver. Raven's Hardcore title feud with Crash Holly led to a feud between Poch and Crash's onscreen cousin Molly Holly, who finally unmasked the ninja on the March 11 episode of Sunday Night HEAT, revealing her to be Poch. Poch was then removed from television.

After acting as a Tough Enough trainer throughout the summer of 2001, Poch was released by the WWF in September 2001. At the time she made accusations about Raven, claiming he had verbally abused her (road agent Gerald Brisco and WWF Executive Vice President of Talent Relations Jim Ross claimed, however, that these allegations were not true). She subsequently retired from wrestling and concentrated on her yoga career.
