Wrestling News and Rumors, Velvet Sky, Trish Stratus and More.....

Today's edition has lot's of female wrestling news and rumors, including Velvet Sky and her bikini, Info on the Final Resolution TNA PPV, Former WWE Diva Trish Stratus having a birthday, a couple of wrestling results and of course, some female wrestling pics.

First up, a belated Happy Birthday to former WWE Diva and WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus, who turned 34 on December 18th.

I mentioned another former WWE Diva, Ashley Massaro hinting at a possible return to the ring on one of my other blogs....

Well the rumors continue (fueled by Ashley on her Twitter account) and we can add these tidbits....
"Thanks for asking my tattos are all good now and healed yay! And to answer ur ques i do plan on comin back to the ring...after traininwoohoo"
"watchin tna this evening aswell..."
"I'd love to host Raw one day, you never know? Always been fond of hosting, as long as I can be mysel.you guys know me, so i thinkyanowhatimn"
I said before I think she would be a perfect fit at TNA.....

Since Lauren Brooke is leaving TNA, Christy Hemme may be taking over as the backstage interviewer.

At the TNA PPV Final Resolution, ODB will be taking on Tara for the TNA Knockouts Championship.

And speaking of Tara, she is currently pitching a reality show featuring herself, spotlighting her attempt to cross over from pro wrestling to mixed martial arts.

And speaking of ODB, she was beaten on TNA Impact! by the returning Nicole Raczynski, better known as just Roxxi.

Another TNA Knockout Madison Rayne, has a Wish List up on Amazon.com.
You can check out the list here.

And finally, TNA Knockout Velvet Sky auctioned off the bikini that she wore on the Victory Road TNA PPV DVD cover.
The bikini finally went for $830.00 on e-Bay.
Pretty impressive.

Female Wrestling News - Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, Jenna Morasca and More

www.prowrestling.net is reporting that TNA Knockout Jenna Morasca will not be appearing on TNA programming for at least a few months.
She is currently in Samoa working as a contestant on the upcoming twentieth season of Survivor.
Filming has already started and will last through next month.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated has named Mickie James the number one female wrestler in the second annual PWI Female 50.
The PWI Female 50 ranks the best women's wrestlers in the United States in 2009.
Last years winner was TNA Knockout Awesome Kong.
I've seen this mentioned at several sites, but the first place I saw the news was at Diva Dirt.

I've mentioned a few times about the WWE not using Beth Phoenix recently, and now the Wrestling Observer reports that WWE officials have soured on Beth Phoenix.
As you may recall, Beth went almost a month without appearing on TV, and people were begining to worry about her future with the WWE.
One rumor was that she was "too big" for the WWE's tastes.

The Kurt Angle situation is beginning to sound like a bad Lifetime movie with Kurt, Rhaka Khan, Jeff Jarrett and Karen Angle, restraining orders etc.
And add to that what people have been saying for months about Rhaka being a looney.
Remember the Rhaka Khan/Roxxi incident?

Lots of TNA Knockout stuff.....

tna knockouts, tna impact, jenna morasca

Evidently TNA Knockout Jenna Morasca is more than a little angry over people wondering just why she is in TNA.
And apparently it was an article by Dave Meltzer at www.wrestling-edge.com that drove her over the edge.
Mr. Meltzer had written that many in the company (TNA) are wondering exactly why she was signed.
Jenna responded to this in a post on her MySpace blog.
You can read it here:
http://www.myspace.com/jennamorasca

I have to admit I wondered why Jenna was signed as well.
BUT...I wondered why Michelle McCool and Maryse were signed by the WWE, and one of them is now the ex-Diva's Champ and one is the current.
So I have been wrong.

And it seems now that Roxxi actually requested her release from TNA.
She was serving a 60-day suspension for an incident backstage with Rhaka Khan that turned physical.
And some insiders felt that Roxxi was getting a bad deal because of the relationship Kurt Angle has with Rhaka.
Yeah I thought about that too, I just didn't say anything.

There's an article at The Daily Press about TNA Knockout Traci Brooks speaking to students about overcoming Erb's Palsy in her right arm.
I had heard about that, but I had no idea that Traci couldn't raise her right arm over her head.
You can read the full article here:
http://www.timminspress.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=1551052

And lastly, TNA has released the "Knockouts Blaster Pack" at their store.
It's a set of exclusive licensed trading cards produced by TRISTAR.
You can check them out here:

TNA Knockout Updates

O-D-B

A couple of TNA updates today....

There's a webmatch between ODB and Velvet Sky posted on YouTube....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1aLWUvj1LY

It appears that TNA Knockout Roxxi has been released from the company.
At least her profile is gone from the TNA website.
Roxxi and Rhaka Khan have been serving a 60-day suspension as punishment for a backstage altercation several weeks ago at iMPACT!
For the moment Rhaka seems to be safe since her profile is still up.

More WWE Diva and TNA Knockout Updates

Last nights women's wrestling match on WWE Raw really wasn't a match.
Beth Phoenix and Jillian Hall were supposed to wrestle Kelly Kelly and Melina.
Beth and Jillian were already in the ring waiting and Kelly came out followed by Melina.
Then suddenly Rosa Mendez, who was posing as one of the photographers, jumped Melina and knocked her down.
See I told you that ban wouldn't work...LOL
Security grabs Rosa and hauls her off and Kelly goes to check on Melina at which time the heels decide it's a good time to attack.
So they do and pretty much decimate Kelly and Melina.
Thus the match is ruled No Contest.

Now....who can see a three woman tag team match in the distance?

Over at TNA, Roxxi, Taylor Wilde and ODB will be facing The Kongtourage on TNA iMPACT!

Also over at TNA, Christy Hemme and Awesome Kong may be out a bit as Christy is having trouble with discs in her neck, and Kong has a back injury.
Christy may be looking at surgery.

Rhaka Khan's Birthday!

First off, besides being Christmas, yesterday was TNA Knockouts Rhaka Khan (Trenesha Biggers) Birthday!
So Happy Birthday Rhaka!

And two, I may have spoken too soon about TNA not subjecting their female wrestlers to gimmick matches like the WWE does.....
A "Santa's Workshop Knockout Street Fight"?
Really, these ladies are talented enough to have good solid matches without all this.
I know it's the Holidays.
And yes I do have a problem with the " Halloween Costume Contests" so it's not just Christmas.
Anyway, ODB, Christy Hemme, Roxxi and Taylor Wilde won and we don't have to dread anything like this again till maybe February.
I cringe thinking about a "Valentines Day Sweethearts Match".

Candice Michelle, Roxxi and Cherry

Former WWE Diva Cherry will be getting back into wrestling action at Who's Slamming Who professional wrestling on Saturday night, December 6th, 2008 at 3-2 Count Athletic Training Facility.
The Former WWE Diva will be taking on a current TNA Knockout Roxxi, making this the first "Diva vs. Knockout" match that I can think of.
For more info, e-mail: info@fanslamwrestling.com

And Candice Michelle is in the new issue of Muscular Development Magazine, with a multi page pictorial.
Okay I know Candice is hot and all, but Muscular Development Magazine?
Does the WWE have some kind of agreement with them?
Beth Phoenix I could see doing that.

TNA iMPACT!: No Knockouts?

christy hemme, tna impact

The TNA iMPACT! Video Game is out and I noticed one glaring error.
Well glaring to me at least.
Christy Hemme is the only Knockout in the game!
Okay I know this is the first TNA game, but not to include the Knockout Division?
They have a wide range of talented female wrestlers and think about what their " Legends" division could have.
If you went all the way back to the beginning of their roster back in 2002, you could have Francine Fournier (WWE probably has her rights tied up though), Shannon Spruill, Mickie James/ Alexis Laree (okay I KNOW WWE has her rights), April Hunter, MsChif, Malia Hosaka, Kim Neilson (Desire), Daizee Haze, Stephanie Finochio (Trinity), Gail Kim (I have no idea who has her rights now) and Salinas!
It would almost be like " SHIMMER: The Video Game"!
But no, TNA basically overlooked one of their most popular divisions when creating this.
Maybe next time.
I know the reviews of the game weren't exactly glowing, but that's never stopped the WWE.
I'll just hold out for my dream game, " WWE Divas versus TNA Knockouts".
Why not?
We've had Marvel vs Capcom.

Last Night on TNA Impact, Awesome Kong and Gail Kim

Last Night on TNA Impact, Awesome Kong and Gail Kim

Awesome Kong defeated Gail Kim last night on TNA Impact in a No DQ Knockouts Brawl.
After Kong defeated Gail, Gail's "sister"(referee Earl Hebner's real-life daughter) came into the ring to protect Gail from further damage.
Kong was about to attack her when ODB and Roxxi rushed into the wrestling ring and made the save.

Here's where I run into trouble.
Some sites are reporting Gail's sister “Katie Kim”to be Earl Hebner's daughter.
Other sites ares saying it's Jennifer Lee Chan.
Are they two separate people?
Or is Jennifer Lee Chan Earl Hebner's daughter?
Jennifer was in WOW, Women of Wrestling as Jade.
Now that Gail has left TNA, what will happen to Katie?

Yes I'm confused/obsessed.......
