Shelly Martinez aka Ariel ECW Vampire

Remember when Shelly Martinez worked for the WWE on ECW brand under the ring name Ariel?
Originally she was supposed to be a part of a 'vampire' faction with Gangrel and Kevin Thorn.
But that didnt work out, so she and Thorn began appearing in vignettes together, and she wound up being his valet.
Rumor has it that the WWE writers had things planned for Shelly/Ariel, but a backstage altercation with Batista ended that and she was soon let go.

TNA Knockout Christy Hemme in Afghanistan

Former WWE Diva and current TNA Knockout Christy Hemme is visiting the troops in Afghanistan.
Along with Christy is Nora (Molly Holly) Greenwald, Terri Runnels and Shelly Martinez.

Okay she left WWE and I was sad.
Couldn't blame her though, it was ECW.
Then she went to TNA and I was happy again.
Now Shelly Martinez aka Salinas has left TNA.
Doesn't really matter though, I followed her career long before WWE.
I know the rumor about her wanting to make a movie and TNA not wanting to give up any more money.
That's cool.
But first Gail Kim....now Shelly?
Is TNA's women's wrestling division a house of cards that will soon fold on itself?

Shelly "Ariel" Martinez IS going to TNA.
She's gonna join Angel Williams, Talia Madison, Amazing Kong, and ODB at Bound For Glory.
She cant do the Vampire gimmick there because of the WWE. ( Which I dont understand because I thought Shelly was doing the vampire gimmick BEFORE her stint on the WWE?)
Now she's gonna use a punk rock chick gimmick.

TNA Knockouts Gauntlet Match at Bound for Glory.

On Thursday's iMPACT!, Jim Cornette announced there will be a Knockouts Gauntlet Match at Bound for Glory.
Ten women will compete to determine the first TNA Women's Wrestling World Champion.
Cornette said the match will feature "five girls you know and five girls you don't know."
The five women confirmed are Christy Hemme, Gail Kim, Ms. Brooks, Jackie Moore and Roxxy Laveaux.
The other 5 unknowns will probably come from Indy promotions like SHIMMER.
TNA has been talking to Shelly "Ariel" Martinez and Nidia, so we'll have to see how that pans out.
A ten woman division?
Will the WWE now try to up the ante?

Shelly Martinez and Vampiro?

Shelly Martinez made her first appearance at a wrestling event since her release from WWE at the 7/14 Full Contact Wrestling show in Los Angeles.

 She was the manager of former WCW star ,and former WSX Wrestling Champion, Vampiro is his match against Jesus Aguilera.Shelly used the name Vampira. Not Koffin Kitty? Too bad I really liked that.
Talk about appropriate though !
Vampiro and Shelly together!
Now I'll just cross my fingers for the TNA gig.
And cross 'em again that they let her wrestle.

 Hey, maybe Vampiro and Shelly can team up in TNA and show the WWE how the Kevin Thorne storyline should have went!

Former WWE Diva Shelly Martinez

Did you know former WWE Diva Shelly Martinez was in movie called Dead Things back in 2005?
She played "Troy's Girlfriend" in the segment "Hexed".

Ariel / Shelly Martinez /Koffin Kitten

Since Ariel (Shelly Martinez) was " released" from the WWE, she has begun to re-name herself.
Her new persona is "Koffin Kitten" ( I LOVE that name!) and she is following up on that at her myspace page and her regular website.
I'm wonder if this new "persona" is a way of reaching out to TNA?
Let's see....
Jackie Moore, Ms.Brooks, Gail Kim, Jackie Gayda (when she gets back), So Cal Val and Shelly?
The WWE Diva may be up against some stiff competition.
Shelly looks as good as ever, maybe better. The full blown Ariel character was a little over the top for me. A more Gothic, smoldering Shelly might be just the ticket.
As always, no matter how Shelly goes about it, I wish her all the luck. As I said before, I was a fan of hers way before the WWE/ECW days, and remain so.

Shelly Martinez Fired???

Yes, it's all over the net by now, my favorite vampire wrestler Shelly Martinez, was fired.
Okay, they say " released"
Allegedly she got into an altercation backstage with Batista and BOOM! she was outta there.
Well Stephanie McMahon just took over hiring and firing, she is Triple H's wife, Batista is Trips buddy, so......
Also, its been said Steph didn't think Shelly fit the WWE Diva, " mold".
Yeah true...shes not a blonde. And she can actually wrestle.
Well maybe its all for the best. I hear TNA is gonna crank up their women's division ( Actually, come to think of it, I've been hearing that for awhile....) so maybe she'll go there and actually be allowed to wrestle.
I've followed Shelly's career since WAY before she showed up in the WWE, so I wish her the best in whatever she decides to do.
And BTW...the WWE sucks MORE now.
Even without vampires.....
