Female Wrestling Updates, August 9, 2009

Several updates today....

Over at Tuccioholic.com, Ken Tuccio has a list of the most degrading moments in WWE Diva history.
I agree with all of them and think there's really enough material for a part two if he wants to go that far.....

It looks like Lilian Garcia's final WWE show will be RAW in Las Vegas on August 24th, right after her ten-year anniversary show at the SummerSlam PPV.

Remember Baby Doll?
Well Mike Mooneyham has a big article on the life of Nickla Roberts with pictures that you can see here.

You probably already know that WWE Diva Nikki Bella and Dolph Ziggler are dating right?

And I had an entry back on my other female wrestling blog back in February about Brooke Hogan maybe going to the WWE.
It appears my idea wasn't new, as Brooke told the Sun that Vince McMahon has approached her a number of times about becoming a Diva.
Brooke said in the article that
"The WWE have told me that if I ever want to become a wrestler all I need to do is walk through the door and they'll give me a job straight away.

On the April 2, 2007 episode of RAW, Garcia's skirt was torn off by Lashley after Vince McMahon attempted to hide his newly shaven bald head under her skirt. The incident resulted in a large surge in searches for Garcia on the Internet, with searches for "Lilian Garcia" jumping 301% and becoming the fourth most searched-for term on the search engine Yahoo!.
And made the Lash-Bot 1000 my new hero.

Lilian Garcia - WWE Divas

Ring name(s) Lilian Garcia
Billed height 5 ft 5 in (165 cm)
Billed weight 110 lb (50 kg)
Born August 19, 1966
Florence, South Carolina
Resides New York City, New York
Billed from New York
Debut 1999

Lilian Garcia born August 19, 1963 in Florence, South Carolina is a Puerto Rican best known as a ring announcer and Diva for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on its RAW brand. She also pursues a career as a professional singer.

Lilian took part in her first major Diva publication in 2005 with the release of the Divas 2005 swimsuit magazine and related DVD Viva Las Divas of the WWE. Garcia had not taken part in any previous Diva DVD's or magazines before, so her "Diva" title was somewhat debated amongst fans up until this point. Although a veteran in the ladies locker room, she hadn't really done much without a microphone in hand. However, her participation in the Divas shoot has gained her more attention and popularity amongst fans. Afterwards, Lilian participated in several promotional TV segments for the DVD and had her first real storyline involvement with the WWE Superstar, Viscera. Lilian also participated in a lingerie pillow fight which was originally between Christy Hemme, Maria Kanellis, and Candice Michelle (though it was very brief and in her normal announcer clothes). Such participation in diva segments by Lilian has been very rare, with many fans often complaining at her lack of involvement. Lilian has also been chosen many times on WWE.com as a Daily Diva.
