I haven't done a rundown of the female TNA wrestlers, the TNA Knockouts, roster in awhile so here is the up to date listing....
The current TNA Knockout Roster:
Mickie James (The current TNA Knockouts Champion)
Gail Kim
The Blossom Twins (Hannah Blossom and Holly Blossom)
Lei'D Tapa
Madison Rayne (Maternity leave)
Miss Tessmacher (Hasn't appeared in over 30 days)
ODB
Taeler Hendrix
Tara
Taryn Terrell
Velvet Sky
And if you add in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) in (as I always do with the WWE and NXT) you can add:
Trina Thompson (The current OVW Women's Champion)
Epiphany
Heidi Lovelace
Jessie Belle
Josette Bynum
Lovely Lylah
Nikki St. John
I am really wondering why you are not hearing more about the incredible Trina Thompson.
If I were TNA, this lady would be headed for the "Big Leagues" with the other TNA Superstars post-haste
.
More of the beautiful women of female wrestling. Mainly TNA Knockouts, but with some WWE Divas thrown in for good measure. Stars of the past and present like AJ Lee, Christy Hemme,Torrie Wilson, Candice Michelle, Stacy Keibler, Mickie James, Beth Phoenix and more.

Tara - TNA Women's Knockout Champion Again
On October 14 at the TNA PPV Bound for Glory, Tara defeated Miss Tessmacher to win the TNA Women's Knockout Championship for her fifth time.
TNA
This makes her a 5 time TNA Women's Knockout Champion, a one time TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion (with Brooke Tessmacher) and a 2 time WWE Women's Champion.
Her fifth reign in TNA ties her with former TNA Knockout Angelina Love who also held the belt five times.
I'm really happy that TNA decided to put the strap around Tara's waist again.
I'll even forgive the "Hollywood boyfriend", Jessie Godderz thing.

Tara vs Miss Tessmacher
Pretty cool TNA Knockouts match as Tara (the mentor) takes on Miss Tessmacher (the student).
I dunno...I just kinda like the way they presented the match.
You dont see matches like this anymore.

But looking at the end of the match...will Tara go "heel" and go after her friend's title?

Is The TNA Knockout Roster Failing?
You know I was looking at the TNA Knockout roster the other day since Angelina Love and Velvet Sky left.....and it's kinda messed up.
Of course we have the champion Miss Tessmacher....
Then we have Gail Kim, Madison Rayne, Mickie James, ODB, Tara and Taeler Hendrix.
Christy Hemme, SoCal Val and Taci Brooks don't wrestle.
Rosita, Sarita and Winter haven't even been on Impact in over 30 days.
Winter and Rosita have been showing up in Family Wrestling Entertainment (FWE) where Winter has held the FWE Women's Championship and Sarita has been wrestling in CMLL in Mexico...and I have heard she was headed for Japan.
So that gives TNA roughly seven active Knockouts.
Now compare this to the WWE that has eight active Divas and eight in development (plus a couple they dont know what to do with yet).
TNA is lagging behind the WWE in their female talent.
Of course the argument can be made that 8 TNA Knockouts have more talent than 16 WWE Divas, but if they dont watch out, the WWE may catch them in that territory too.
The WWE seems to be looking at the Indy promotions more and more, like TNA used to.

Miss Tessmacher - The New TNA Women's Knockout Champion
After defeating Mickie James, Tara and Velvet Sky in a four-way match to earn another shot at Gail Kim's Women's Knockout Championship, the newly renamed Miss Tessmacher defeated Gail Kim at Slammiversary to win the TNA Women's Knockout Championship for the first time.
I have to say I'm kinda surprised that she actually got the belt.
It's kinda like Kelly winning the WWE Women's Championship.
At least it wasn't Eric Young.....
