Rebel - TNA Knockout

Although Rebel (Tanea Brooks) is very popular on this blog, she has had less than a stellar run since returning to the ring.
She came back to TNA on March 2nd, 2017, during the Knockouts Knockdown 2017, and took on ODB.
She lost.
Then she was in the gauntlet match to become number one contender for Rosemary's Knockouts Championship.
She lost.
Then she debuted in Japan for World Wonder Ring Stardom, in the 2017 Cinderella Tournament...and was eliminated in the first round.

Maybe her luck will improve.....

Brooke Has Returned to TNA

Yes Brooke Adams aka Brooke aka Brooke Tessmacher aka Miss Tessmacher has returned to TNA.
As you may know, she gave birth to a boy named Jace on September 3, 2016, but she's back wrestling now.
Brooke returned on January 7, 2017, during the taping of the January 19 episode of Impact Wrestling, and defeated Deonna Purrazzo.
After the match, she was attacked by Sienna and on the January 8, 2017 television taping, Brooke had a 1-on-1 match with Sienna which she lost.

Peyton Royce and Billie Kay - NXT

Here are the Dynamic Duo of WWE NXT Wrestling, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay.
Peyton Royce aka Cassie McIntosh aka KC Cassidy has been wrestling since 2009.
Billie Kay aka Jessica "Jessie" McKay has been wrestling since 2007.

WWE NXT - Daria Berenato, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce

Daria Berenato, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce at the NXT TakeOver: Toronto event before the six-women tag team match.
It was taped and aired for the November 23rd episode of NXT.
They were defeated by Aliyah, Ember Moon and Liv Morgan.

Liv Morgan (Gionna Jene Daddio) has been with the WWE since 2014.
Billie Kay (Jessica "Jessie" McKay) has been with the WWE since 2015, but has been wrestling since 2007.

WWE NXT Divas Asuka and Nikki Cross

Showing the diversity of the WWE, both of these women are now in NXT.
They have Japanese wrestler Kanako Urai aka Kana (in Japan) and aka Asuka in NXT.
And now Scottish wrestler Nicola Glencross, aka Nikki Storm, aka Nikki Cross in NXT.
Some folks think that Nikki may be the one to unseat Asuka as NXT Champion.

Billie Kay vs Liv Morgan - NXT

On October 12th, 2016, Billie Kay (Jessie McKay) defeated Liv Morgan on NXT.
Yeah Billie got a little help from her BFF Peyton Royce.
But hey, I have been following Billie's career since 2007 so I'd be happy to see her get a push.

Asuka vs Bayley - WWE NXT Takeover Brooklyn 2

At NXT Takeover Brooklyn 2 Asuka defended her NXT Women's Championship against Bayley.
One of the many high points in the match was when Bayley fought out of the Asuka Lock, a hold that cost her the NXT Women's Championship in the first place when she passed out in it at NXT Takeover: Dallas.
Bayley gave Asuka the Bayley to Belly Suplex for a near pin fall, but Asuka executed a Spin Kick on Bayley and pinned her to retain the title.
After the 14 minute match (Yes...a WWE Diva match that went 14 minutes) both women were given a standing ovation.

Carmella vs. Nikki Bella, Twice

On WWE SmackDown, Nikki Bella got all she wanted of Carmella.

Twice.

First Nikki was in the ring with Renee Young making her official SmackDown roster debut when suddenly Carmella Pearl Harbors her, beats her down and for good measure, gives her the Bella Buster.

Then on WWE Talking Smack, Carmella jumped Nikki again mid-interview and again delivered a beat down

TNA Knockout Jade - Mia Yim

Yeah I know that I keep saying that I am not gonna write anymore about TNA.
Heck, I don't even have a way to watch the show since it is nowhere on my cable.
But while I am waiting for the clock to run out on TNA, I wanted to at least acknowledge the fact that Stephanie Bell aka Mia Yim aka Jade, is the TNA Women's Knockout Champion.
She deserves it.
True I would rather see the WWE Women's Title around her waist but still.
Mia has been wrestling since 2009 and has a lot of fans out there.
I wish her luck.

Summer Rae vs Paige - WWE Raw

Since nothing is really going on in TNA and I have no way of actually watching it on TV, let's look at the WWE Divas.
Particularly Monday Night Raw this week when Summer Rae incredibly beat Paige!
I don't remember ever seeing Summer Rae actually win a match before.
But that's okay, Paige got her revenge on WWE Main Event later in the week.

The Most Popular Wrestler This Year - Chyna

Yeah I know that usually I just focus on TNA here and leave the WWE to my other blog, but at one time, I did all the wrestlers here too.
And this year, the most popular female wrestler on this blog is former WWF/WWE Diva Chyna.
Evidently she still has a lot of fans out there, because her entry from way back in 2007 was the most popular by far.

The TNA Knockouts Roster - June, 2015

I have given up a few times on TNA Impact.
I have said that was it and just quit paying any attention to them at all.
But it seems like everytime I do that, they pull something pretty great out of their hats.
So I keep going back.

Taking a look at their roster, you can see that it looks like once again they are trying to beef up the Impact Knockouts division....

TNA Knockout Rebel is Back

TNA Knockout Rebel (Tanea Brooks) made her return to Impact Wrestling om May 15th.
Yeah I know it took me a while.
But anyway she is back.
Rebel and Brooke took on the Dollhouse in a less than stellar match-up.
"Less than stellar" as in they lost.
By the way, Josh did mention during the match that the rest of the Menagerie returned to circus life, tying up that loose end.

Is AJ Gonna Be The Next Lita?

We all know that now retired WWE Diva AJ Lee (Brooks) idolized Lita.
But now that she is gone, will she join the ranks of her idol Lita and Trish Stratus as Divas that we wished never left the WWE?
Quite possibly.
Celeste "Kaitlyn" Bonin (Bodiez) recently said in an interview....
"AJ has this weird ability to accomplish anything that she visualizes. So when she worked her way up to the top, she stayed up there. No one has been like her, and no one will ever be like her."
The fans loved her and still do.
We dont know for sure what she will be doing in the future, but the fans miss her already.

Donna Adamo aka Elektra - ECW and TNA

Donna Adamo was born on November 12th, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York.
She is better known as Elektra, a pro wrestler and manager who has worked for both ECW Wrestling and TNA Wrestling in the past.
As Elektra she managed Danny Doring, Roadkill, C.W. Anderson, Wild Bill Wiles, Chris Hamrick, Julio Dinero and EZ Money.
She was headed for a modeling career until she decided to train as a pro wrestler.
She trained with the Fabulous Moolah, Lelani Kai, Johnny Rodz and Velvet McIntyre.
Donna worked the Northeastern Independent wrestling circuit until she wound up with the original ECW.
When Miss Congeniality( Lita) signed with the WWF, Elektra made her debut as her replacement, distracting the opponents of Danny Doring and Roadkill at ringside.

Elektra stayed with Doring and Roadkill for a time, then moved to Lou E. Dangerously's Dangerous Alliance, CW Anderson and Billy Wiles.
She was one of the “Bada-Bing Girls” that appeared on the TV series, The Sopranos.
Donna owns the club that is portrayed as "Bada-Bing."
In June 2002, Donna appeared on the second ever TNA Wrestling pay-per-view. It was her only appearance for the company.
In 2003, WWE did a photo shoot with then diva Dawn Marie Psaltis in that same club.
Elektra made an appearance at ECW One Night Stand in 2005
On June 16th, 2007, she made an appearance with the Supreme League of Wrestling promotion under the name "Elektra Fine".

This Is Good Use Of ODB?

Look...it's former three time TNA Women's Knockout Champion ODB in a gimmick match.
Yeah I know it's considered a mixed wrestling match or an inter gender match, but it's still basically a gimmick match.

You know...this is why the WWE disappoints me.
I really hope TNA isn't following suit.
