PWPIX.net is reporting that Christy Hemme has signed a three-year deal with TNA worth $175,000 per year.
I wonder how the other TNA Knockouts feel about that?


And...Desmond Wolf's valet Alison Skipper has signed a long term contract with TNA.

At WWE.com, there is a videp posted of new Divas Champion Eve Torres training with Rener Gracie.
If you know anything about BJJ or MMA you know the Gracie name.
Of course the WWE is not as nice about letting people embed videos to promote the brand as TNA is, so you can see the video here at the WWE site.

And speaking of Eve, WWE Diva Melina doesn't seem too happy about Eve getting the belt if you go by her Tweets on Twitter.
Melina said among other things....
"I still stand by what I say. Back in the Trish/Lita/Jazz era, the women earned the title and fought for it. It meant so much. Women looked at them and wanted to be as great as them. It shouldn't be about taking turns on who gets to put in on this week. It should be about who earned it and who brings credibility to it. I still wish it could have been Jillian, Katie or Gail to have that opportunity. All I wanted was to start a new era. To make those women proud to see we were keeping it alive."
I pretty much have to agree with Melina on all those points.

TNA looking for a new lead Knockout

Ms.Payton Banks (Rain)

TNA is looking for a lead face Knockout to replace the void left by Gail Kim.
The Sarah Stock signing looks like it's marred in paperwork at the moment with her having to fulfill commitments to CMLL.
So where do they go to get the "next big thing"?
TNA has a habit of getting REAL wrestlers, so dont look for any bikini models.
I figure they will go to the Indys, SHIMMER in particular.

They have already used Ms. Payton Banks (Rain), and I think they should have kept her.

Again, very talented and experienced.

She left the WWE. But it looks like we may see her in MMA first.

Daizee Haze?
I think Daizee would be a good choice, and she has worked some TNA matches in the past.

Allison Danger?
That would be too good. Allison and Cheerleader Melissa on the same show?

Female Wrestling on WWE Raw Last Night

Well we had one and a half women's wrestling matches last night on Raw.
First, Goldust and Melina took on Beth Phoenix and Santino Marella.
Goldust and Melina...really not a bad idea. I kinda like that.
Anyway, Goldust and Melina won which of course cued the attack by Rosa.
Her and Melina went at it a bit till security once again broke it up.



Then Kelly Kelly took on Jillian Hall.
Although Jillian pretty much ran the whole match Kelly managed to get the win.
Afterwards Jillian attacked Kelly which cued......Kane.



So the mixed match was a Diva's promo, and the women's match was a Kane promo.
I'm still waiting for the day that we see an actual women's tag team match and a women's single match both on the same night.
I can't really rip the mixed tag team matches that hard since in Lucha Libre, one of the promotions even has a Mixed Tag Team belt.
But I would like to see the women's matches focused on the women's storylines.

BTW, Stephanie McMahon "officially" banned Rosa Mendes from WWE events last night.
We'll see how long that lasts.

Mickie James and Victoria

Mickie James and Victoria had what was probably the best women's match ever on Smackdown!
Okay, I mean women's wrestling match ON Smackdown!, not the best women's match ever.
It just goes to show you what happens when you put two women in the ring that can really wrestle.
Backslides, running cross body blocks, the tree of woe, oklahoma rolls, spinning Samoan Drops,Hurricanranas,neckbreakers,an attempted Moonsault, the match had variety.
Plus both women looked great. I loved Victoria's "goth/punk" ripped fishnet outfit. And so did JBL I think.

Kimberly Page (born Kimberly Lynn Bacon on January 1, 1970 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actress and former valet for her husband Diamond Dallas Page,DDP.

Kimberly met DDP in 1991 at his nightclub in Florida and they started dating shortly after. DDP was a manager at the time in World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Her first appearance was as his Diamond Doll on one of WCW's TV shows. Kimberly went on to marry DDP on December 1, 1991. She did not make any more appearances on WCW TV until 1994, when she became DDP's regular valet. Before then, she worked as a Public Relations Coordinator, Account Executive, Aerobics Instructor and as a Waitress. She was not at any point, as previously & erroneously reported, Ric Flair's "maid" Fifi. (Fifi was portrayed by Wendy Barlow, or WCW front office employee Sharon Sidello, conflicting reports.)

DDP had a feud with Dave Sullivan, who objected to how DDP treated her. DDP won that feud but ended up losing Kimberly in a match to Johnny B. Badd (Marc Mero) in 1995. Johnny promptly freed her and she became his valet going by the name of Kimberly.

Mero eventually departed for the WWF and she became The Booty Babe for The Booty Man. In 1997, she rejoined DDP to help him feud with "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Soon after, she formed the dance team known as The Nitro Girls. They danced during breaks on WCW Monday Nitro to entertain the fans. They filmed a PPV that was released in 1999. She stayed with this until late 1999 when she rejoined DDP and even "wrestled" a match against David Flair at WCW Mayhem on November 21, 1999. In 2000, she turned on DDP to join Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff's New Blood stable. She decided it was "all about me" instead of DDP and it was hinted she was romantically involved with Bischoff. She had small feuds with Elizabeth and Miss Hancock. She was also briefly paired with Mike Awesome.

She left WCW for good after she had backstage problems with Scott Steiner, stemming from an incident where Kimberly claimed that drugs found in a locker room belonged to Tammy Lynn Sytch, leading to Sytch and her boyfriend, Chris Candido, being released from WCW. Steiner, known for his quick temper, began insulting Kimberly in his promos, leading to a backstage rivalry with Page and Kimberly. When it became clear that WCW management would not do much to stop the problems, Kimberly departed WCW. There were also rumors that the reason for her departure was due to her unwillingness to train to wrestle, as WCW wanted Page and Hancock to wrestle on Pay-Per-View. She was originally scheduled to be paired with Chris Kanyon in her next angle.

On July 3, 2004, Page announced that he and Kimberly had amicably separated. Kimberly and DDP officially divorced late in 2005.

WWF: Stacy Carter - The Kat

Stacy Carter was born on September 29th, 1971 in Memphis, Tennessee.

She is better known as Miss Kitty or The Kat, an American former pro wrestler and valet. She is best known as the ex-wife of wrestler Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Stacy debuted in wrestling as the interviewer in the United States Wrestling Association in the early 1990's. She soon became the valet for her boyfriend, Jerry Lawler, first accompanying him to ringside while he was wrestling for the USWA in 1996. She followed him to Power Pro Wrestling in 1998, where she was involved in an angle where Shawn Stasiak began stalking her, even breaking into the couple's home on Christmas Day and attempting to kiss her before being dispatched by Lawler.
