Even if you think the lady wrestlers there weren't used to the best of their abilities, they gave a lot of female wrestlers from the Indy wrestling promotions a chance to shine and got them some PR.
And like they say, "There is no such thing as bad publicity except your own obituary."
The first episode was pretty much "GLOW spun through a time warp" and you could really see it in the sketches and rapping.
Yes...rapping, like the old "Glow Rap"before the matches.
I think Wrestlicious would have been better off toning down the gimmicks, concentrating more on the wrestling, and maybe getting rid of that "Barbie Malibu Dream Ring" thing they have going on.
But like I said, they had some of the best wrestling talent out there, so here is a list of the female wrestlers that Wrestlicious had listed on their roster.
A lot of the roster changed after the first few tapings, but I tried to keep things as updated as I could.
As of now June 3rd, 2018, Wrestilicious has yet to release a second season in any form, secure a television deal, or promote any new shows.
Here are some of the ladies from their roster, starting with...
Tyler Texas - Lorelei Lee
Amy Janas aka Tyler Texas and Lorelei Lee was born on June 22, 1982 and made her pro wrestling debut in 2004.
Amy is not only a wrestler, but also a bikini, figure and fitness competitor as well.
Amber Lively - Madison Rayne
Ashley Simmons was born on February 5, 1986 and made her professional wrestling debut in 2004 as well.
Besides Amber Lively, she has wrestled under the names Ashley Lane, Lexi Lane and in TNA, Madison Rayne.
Charlotte - Amber O'Neal
Kimberly Dawn Davis aka Amber O'Neal was born on June 22, 1974 and made her pro wrestling debut way back in 1999.
She started out in the Professional Girl Wrestling Association (PGWA) as Amber Holly, but changed her ring name to Amber O'Neal to avoid confusion with WWF/WWE Diva "Molly Holly".
Molly actually helped Amber in her tryout matches with the WWE.
Interestingly, Amber used the name "Charlotte" way before Ashley Fliehr.
Lacey Von Erich
Lacey Adkisson is the daughter of Kerry Von Erich and the granddaughter of Fritz Von Erich.
She was born on July 17, 1986 and made her wrestling debut in 2007.
Although Lacey appeared in the promos, she had to be released by the company after signing with TNA.
Paige Webb - Serena Deeb
Serena Deeb was born on June 29, 1986 and made her pro wrestling debut in 2005.
She has wrestled under the names, Mia Mancini, Serena, Serena Deeb, Serena Mancini and Paige Webb.
Serena was the six time OVW Women's Wrestling Champion.
She now works for the WWE as a trainer at their Performance Center.
Marley Sebastian - Daizee Haze
Daizee Haze was born on May 11, 1983 and made her professional wrestling debut in 2002.
Daizee has worked for a ton of Indy wrestling promotions like All Pro Wrestling, Anarchy Championship Wrestling, Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South, NWA Midwest, Shimmer Women Athletes (where she's also the head trainer) and even did some work for TNA.
